Outline of the profession
With a degree in Mechanical Design and Engineering from a university of applied sciences you will be active in one of the following areas, according to your interests and preferences:
- Planning, concept generation and design of machines, apparatus and processes
- Realisation and interpretation of measurements and of experiments
- Simulation of stress and strain, of motions and of processes
- Production and manufacture of machines and parts
- Putting into operation, operation and maintenance of machines and plant
- Sales and training
On graduation you will in many cases be employed as a project leader.

- You remain persistent when the best possible solutions to complex technical problems need to be found
