Majoring in Banking As of October 2004, the ZHW School of Management is offering banking
as a new area of specialization in its bachelor of science degree
programs. This course has been specifically designed for the training
needs of the banking sector, with special emphasis on financial
risk management.
The new program covers a wide range of topics and focuses on the
practical aspects of banking – providing students with a
broad career perspective. It is particularly suitable for those
who want to acquire a solid foundation in business administration
and in banking and who are aiming for a management position in
the medium term.
Throughout the program, students work on case studies to combine
theory with practical experience.
In addition, communication skills are also taught during the entire
course of study. These form an important part of the curriculum – both
in terms of learning a foreign language as well as using language
effectively, for example in presentations, negotiations and report
writing.
Students successfully completing the six-semester program are
awarded an internationally recognized bachelor of science in banking,
accredited by FIBAA.
